Reconfigurable Systems Summer Institute 2007July 17-20, 2007 National Center for Supercomputing Applications The 2007 Reconfigurable Systems Summer Institute (RSSI'07) will bring together scientists and technology developers from industry and academia to present and discuss new research on high-performance reconfigurable computing (HPRC) from July 18-20 in Urbana, Illinois. Topics will include:
A keynote address will be given by Alan D. George, director of the National Science Foundation Center for High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing (CHREC) and a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. In his talk, "Reconfigurable Computing: From Satellites to Supercomputers," George will describe how HPRC has grown to become one of the most promising new directions for advanced computational technologies. He will focus on opportunities and challenges in reconfigurable computing from the perspective of CHREC, including case studies that range from satellites to supercomputers. A video of Alan George's keynote is now available (Quicktime .mov, ~589 MB) To register, go to http://rssi.ncsa.uiuc.edu/rssi-register.html. Attendees can also request invitations to three co-located events to be held on July 17:
